Yemenia Airlines announced a new update to travel requirements to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which includes new health requirements for all travelers wishing to perform Umrah or visit.
An official statement issued by the Yemeni national carrier stated that the Saudi authorities issued instructions that all travelers, except for children under one year old, must receive vaccinations against Neisseria meningitis and polio.
The communication explained that these new procedures will come into effect as of February 1, 2025, stressing the necessity of obtaining a certificate proving receipt of the aforementioned vaccinations before traveling.

Neisseria meningitis: The vaccination certificate must be valid for 10 years for the polysaccharide type, or 5 years for the conjugated type.
Polio: It is necessary to ensure that the necessary immunization against polio is obtained in accordance with applicable health requirements.
This update comes as part of health measures aimed at enhancing public safety in the Kingdom and ensuring the safety of pilgrims and visitors.
