The Israeli army: intercepting a march launched from Yemen

The Israeli army said, on Monday, that it intercepted a drone launched from Yemen in the south of the country.
Army spokesman Avichay Adraee said in a statement published on the “X” platform: “The Air Force recently intercepted a drone launched from Yemen in the south of the country.”
There was no comment from the Houthi group on the army’s statement.
In recent weeks, Houthi attacks with missiles and marches on Tel Aviv have escalated, amid sharp criticism from the Israeli opposition and former military leaders of the army’s failure to confront them and the government’s inability to stop this threat.
Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his Defense Minister Yisrael Katz, vowed to direct “strong” strikes against the Houthis and target their leaders, after the group intensified its targeting of military sites deep inside Israel.
The Houthis launch, from time to time, attacks with missiles and drones on Israel, some of which targeted Tel Aviv, and say they aim to put pressure to stop the Israeli attacks and end the war of genocide on Gaza.
