A Yemeni professor dies in a lecture hall at Taiz University

A professor died, Monday, January 20, 2025, while performing his academic duty at Taiz University, central Yemen.
Taiz University mourned the Deputy Dean of the College of Applied Sciences for Postgraduate Studies, Professor Abdul-Jabbar Tarish Al-Tamimi, who died today while performing his academic duty in the lecture hall at the age of 55.
The university expressed, in a statement, its sincere condolences to his family and the academic community, praising his pioneering role in serving the educational process.
Al-Tamimi held several positions, including Head of the Computer Department at the University of Taiz, Deputy Dean of the College for Postgraduate Studies, and Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology at the National University.
