Dr. Al-Khobaji confirms the Transitional Council’s keenness to involve society in shaping the future of the South

In a step that reflects the Southern Transitional Council's keenness to strengthen communication with citizens, Dr. Nasser Al-Khubaji, head of the political body and head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit, met today, Wednesday, in the capital, Aden, with the Lahj Governorate team headed by Dr. Aidaroos Al-Yahri, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council.
This meeting came after the team completed its field mission, which aimed to enhance direct dialogue with citizens and raise the level of political awareness.
During the meeting, Dr. Aidaroos Al-Yahri presented a detailed report on the results of the team’s field mission, noting the positive results achieved, especially in enhancing confidence between the Transitional Council and citizens.
He explained that the team organized a series of seminars and community meetings that contributed to explaining the directions of the Transitional Council, which led to an increase in popular interaction with national issues.
Al-Yahri stressed that citizens’ observations collected during the field tour focused on the necessity of strengthening joint action to achieve political and economic stability in the south, noting that these observations will form the basis of the Transitional Council’s future plans.
For his part, Dr. Nasser Al-Khobaji praised the outstanding performance of the Lahj team, and described the field trips as an essential step to enhance communication between the leadership and citizens. He stressed that these efforts reflect the Transitional Council's commitment to involving society in shaping the future of the South, stressing the importance of transforming citizens' ideas and suggestions into concrete action plans.
Al-Khobaji added: “We are keen for the citizen’s voice to be present in every step we take, because the future of the South is made by the will of its people.”
He called for the continuation of these qualitative efforts, stressing the importance of investing the ideas and observations collected to enhance organizational and political work, in a way that serves the goals and national aspirations of the people of the South.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Lahj Governorate team expressed their thanks to Dr. Nasser Al-Khubaji for his careful follow-up and continued support, stressing their commitment to continuing to work to achieve the aspirations of the South towards building its independent state.
