Congress calls on Oman to stop the support of the Houthis and close their office

US Congress member Joe Wilson, the Sultanate of Oman, called for the Houthi office to close its territory and stop any financial activities related to them.
The American official stressed in a tweet on his account on the X platform the need to tighten border control to prevent arms transfer operations to the group.
He said: “Our great friends in Amman need isolation and not to embrace the Houthis,” noting the importance of taking steps to prevent money laundering and stop the flow of military support to the group. ”
He added in a separate tweet, "Saudi Arabia is a close partner, construction and a great friend in the face of the Iranian regime, stressing the need to work with Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in order to unify the Yemeni army to defeat the Houthis."
Wilson also emphasized that Iran will be defeated by the Yemenis themselves, and that America must help them, indicating the need to strengthen American support for Yemenis in the face of Iranian influence and the supported armed group.
