Security Belt forces were able to dismantle three explosive devices that they had found in Mudiyah District in Abyan Governorate.

Abyan belt operations revealed that the Security Belt forces dismantled three highly explosive explosive devices, planted by terrorist elements next to the main line in front of Al-Safwa station in the Al-Humisa area, Modiya District.

She indicated that the explosive devices were prepared in a camouflaged manner in order to target any military vehicles belonging to the Security Belt forces and the joint forces stationed in the region.

The Belt Forces confirmed that they cordoned off the area and carried out a field survey as part of the safety measures followed to prevent citizens from approaching the site and to protect them. The specialized engineering team then dismantled the devices and moved them to a safe place.

She added: “The Belt forces stationed in Modiya as part of the southern armed forces are fully prepared and ready around the clock to deal with any terrorist act.

She stressed that the security belt forces in Abyan deal with all firmness and firmness with anyone who tries to destabilize the security and stability of the governorate.
