Judge Abd Rabuh, Hazb, ignored in his ruling a previous decision by the Military Court in the Military Region in Marib Governorate, issued on August 25, 2021 AD, and the Houthi group classified a terrorist organization, prohibited, resolved, and affiliated with them, and after a year the National Defense Council issued a decision to classify the Houthi militia, a terrorist organization in accordance with the Crime Law And the Arab sanctions and agreement to combat terrorism, agreements and international treaties approved by the Republic of Yemen, and the National Defense Council resolution resolution stated a warning to entities and individuals who provide support and assistance, facilities or any form of cooperation and dealing with this terrorist group, that strict measures and penalties will be taken towards them. .

Observers explained that “Judge Hazb” took advantage of his legal position by running the judiciary to achieve personal interests, especially since he had suspicious links, and reached the position in a suspicious manner.

According to specialists in the legal aspect, the ruling may come within the legitimacy of the Houthis and give them a political cover and enables them to use these rulings in international forums to demand recognition as a political party, and the exploitation of the ruling and its presentation to international courts to deny terrorism from the group ... explaining that the ruling is considered to be an obstruction The implementation of international sanctions imposed on the Houthis on the pretext of the existence of Yemeni judicial decisions that are not considered a terrorist group, which calls for a firm position on officials in the Supreme Judicial Council, and the political leadership is concerned with this matter as it threatens the legal position of the state.
