Al -Muharrami stresses the necessity of international support to revive the Yemeni economy in a meeting with Wajen

Commander Abdul Rahman Al -Muharrami, Vice -President of the Transitional Council, a member of the Presidential Command Council, discussed today, Sunday, with His Excellency Stephen Wajen, the US ambassador to Yemen, the developments of the political and political situation in our country, including the classification of the Houthi militia as a foreign terrorist group.
In this context, the Muharrami leader praised the decision of US President Donald Trump to classify the Houthis as a foreign terrorist organization to put an end to its violations against the security of navigation and civilians and the resulting exacerbation of the humanitarian conditions in our country, indicating that the decision reflects a real understanding of the danger of this extremist militia backed by Iran.
After that, the meeting discussed the developments of the humanitarian situation in light of the exacerbation of the economic and service crisis in our country, and in particular, Al -Muharrami stressed the urgent need for comprehensive reforms in the government and state institutions, including the activation of revenue institutions, enhancing the work of supervisory bodies and achieving economic stability. He called for the mobilization of regional and international support to support the Presidential Command Council and the government to recover the deteriorating economic situation and normalize life in the liberated provinces.
