The security services in Aden Governorate arrested two of the defendants in the bombing case witnessed by the city on January 30, 2025. Where the defendants (M.A.H.) (24 years old) and (JABA) (57 years old) were arrested in the Khor Maksar area while they were moving in two Hyundai Tucson and Dyo Matiz cars. 

The security services explained that after the initial investigation with the accused, the identity of other defendants was identified involved in the incident, namely (AMA) and (ASS), who are still fleeing justice. 

The security services emphasized that this process comes within the framework of its continuous efforts to pursue the wanted and those involved in criminal acts, stressing the continuation of investigations and taking the necessary legal measures against all the accused.

Earlier, Dar Saad police had managed on Thursday to thwart an attempt to bomb targeting the capital, Aden, when a homemade explosive device was found near the house of a police officer. The package contained a very explosive C4, and was linked to a mobile phone to detonate it from a distance, indicating that the plan was aiming to destabilize security and stimulate chaos in the region. 

The package has been successfully dismantled without any injuries, while the security services continue their efforts to pursue those involved and prevent any attempts to undermine security in the city.
