Minister Badib says that the World Bank provided ambulatory fuel to the Water and Hospitals Corporation in the capital, Aden

Dr. Wasat Badib, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation and Minister of Communications, expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the World Bank for his quick response to the electricity crisis in the capital, Aden. Balbaib announced today the arrival of urgent support from the World Bank, which is 150 thousand liters of fuel to the Water and Sanitation Corporation in Aden, which will contribute to preserving vital services in the city during the period of power outages.
Badhab explained in a post on the "X" platform that the support was made in coordination with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Food Program (WFP). He added that among the support provided, 32 thousand liters were allocated to support friendship hospitals, the republic and May 22, to ensure the continued provision of health services to citizens.
Minister Badeb indicated that the remaining fuel will be used to operate water and sanitation facilities in the capital, Aden during the next eight days, in an important step to ensure the continuity of these basic services in the city.
Badhab revealed that the ministry is working, in cooperation with the World Bank and the United Nations Projects Organization (UNOPS), to accelerate the next March shipment, and increase the monthly allocations of fuel from 100 thousand liters to 300 thousand liters, in order to ensure the continuation of the basic services of citizens in this Difficult conditions.
