Tribal sources in Shabwa Governorate, Saturday, February 15, 2025, reported that two people were killed and 2 others were wounded, following armed tribal confrontations that broke out as a result of a dispute between two tribes on the naming of a "health unit" in the "Jabdan" district, north of the governorate.

The sources said that armed confrontations erupted between the two tribes of “Blehbah” and “Al -Sada” in the Jihadan Directorate, which resulted in the killing of both the educational “Muhammad Hussein al -Hamid” and the young “Mahdi Ahmed Ali Babbahman The center of the province is emancipated.

The sources pointed out that the confrontations broke out due to the background of a dispute over the naming of a health unit that opened in the directorate last Thursday, noting that a plate was raised that the unit called the unit of "Gul Bin Haidar" unit, which was objected to by the "Balbah" tribe to enter into Armed confrontations with the "Al -Sada" tribe.

She added that the confrontations resulted in the injury of two "Babbah". They were transferred to the city of Ataq for treatment, in addition to transferring the two dead bodies to the refrigerator of the Ataq General Hospital, pointing out that a security campaign from the Giants forces arrived in the district of Jabdan and was able to stop the fighting between the two parties And impose a temporary truce until the emergency dispute is resolved in the Directorate.
