The arrest of a Houthi cell planned to target the army and security in Lahj

On Saturday, the armed forces arrested a cell belonging to the coup militia, in Lahj Governorate, adjacent to the temporary capital of Aden.
According to Yemeni sources, the Houthi cell was found, at the time of its arrest, with highly explosive materials, through which she was seeking to target military and security leaders loyal to the internationally recognized legitimate government.
A statement reported by the official September Net said that “the military intelligence security services managed to arrest elements working for the Houthis in one cell, in the Al -Baha military axis north of Lahj governorate in the south of the country.”
The statement explained that "the Houthi cell was in the possession of her arrest, 15 explosive devices (C4)."
He continued: "Initial investigations revealed that they (the cell) were planning to target military and security leaders, in addition to carrying out terrorist operations by planting these packages in the provinces of Lahj and Taiz."
Since the beginning of February, the Yemeni security and military services have announced the arrest of many Houthi cells in a number of liberated Yemeni provinces.
