A joint meeting at the Ministry of Oil and Minerals to discuss the needs of local markets from home gas

The Ministry of Oil and Minerals Court, in the capital Aden, held a joint meeting that included the Minister of Oil and Minerals, Dr. Saeed Suleiman Al -Shammasi, the Minister of State, Governor of the capital, Aden, Professor Ahmed Lams, and the governor of Lahjah, Major General Ahmed Al -Turki, the governor of Abyan, Major General Abu Bakr Hussein, the governor of Al -Dhalea, Major General Ali Muqbel and Deputy Minister Industry and Trade Counselor Salem Salman, Director General of the Yemeni Oil and Gas Corporation, Mr. Muhammad Awad Thabet, and the Executive Director of the Yemeni Gas Company, Eng. Mohsen With the participation of the owners of the central stations and the senior consumers of home gas.
The meeting discussed the importance of securing and stabilizing the local markets in the home gas material in the governorates of Aden, Lahj, Al -Dhalea and Abyan, and delivering it at the official price set by the Yemeni Gas Company, in coordination of local authorities, and the supervision of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The Minister of Oil and Minerals praised the role of local authorities in the capital, Aden and the governorates, as well as the Yemeni Gas Company and their tireless pursuit to provide market needs of home gas, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
The Minister of Oil and Minerals affirmed the Ministry’s interest through joint work with local authorities to overcome and address all problems that include illegal interruptions that occur in some sectors in addition to the importance of increasing gas shares to meet the great need for home gas in light of the withdrawal of gas quantities to supply Gas cars, causing an increasing demand.
Minister Al -Shammasi, the governor of Aden, Lahj, Al -Dhalea, Abyan, and the competent authorities listened to the owners of the central stations and the senior consumers, the challenges and problems facing the progress of work in the stability of local markets.
Moufdida is the keenness of the Ministry of Oil and Minerals to adopt a work mechanism that guarantees the stability of markets with home gas in coordination with the local authorities and the Ministry of Industry, and tightening control through the descent of a team from the office of the Yemeni gas company and representatives Strict procedures for violating stations and closing unlicensed stations.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Executive Director of the Yemeni Gas Company, Engineer Nasser Al -Muqrahi, Director of the Aden Gas Facility, Mr. Murad Sheikh, and a number of specialists in the gas company.
