Al -Da’ari team: Anti -Houthi attacks require additional support for the Yemeni Armed Forces

The Yemeni Defense Minister, Lieutenant General Mohsen Al -Daari, discussed today, with the British Ambassador to Yemen, Abda Sharif, the developments of the military and security situation in the country.
Al -Daari team pointed to the continuous mobilization of the Houthi terrorist militia on the various fronts of the fighting, stressing that the national army forces confronted these attacks and silenced the sources of fire that targeted the army sites in more than one front.
The Minister of Defense also expressed his interest in enhancing cooperation between Yemen and Britain in the areas of training and qualification of military cadres, in order to enhance the defense capabilities of Yemen in facing security challenges.
He emphasized that achieving stability and peace in Yemen mainly depends on supporting and developing the capabilities of the armed forces, to ensure the extension of security and protect vital installations, in addition to securing maritime navigation in the Red Sea and Bab al -Mandab.
The meeting was attended by Director of the Office of the Minister of Defense, Major General Abdul Hakim Al -Shuaibi, and the military attaché at the Yemeni embassy in Riyadh, Brigadier General Yahya Al -Wael.
