Major General Aidarous Qassem Al -Zubaidi, Chairman of the Southern Transitional Council and Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Command Council, met today, Monday, Minister of Interior, Major General Ibrahim Haidan, and a number of ministry agents.

Al -Zubaidi reviewed a report from Major General Haidan and the agents present about the progress of work in the ministry, the level of security readiness and preparations for the security services, in addition to the performance of interests and bodies affiliated with the Ministry and the services provided to citizens in all the liberated governorates, and in this regard, President Al -Zubaidi stressed the importance of work from the Ministry’s office in the capital Aden to ensure more efficient and effective performance.

The meeting discussed the repercussions of the United States’s decision to redress the Houthi militia as a terrorist organization, and in this context, the leader stressed that this decision puts great responsibilities on the Ministry of Interior, especially with regard to security measures in the maritime, land and air outlets, to ensure that any possible threats.

He stressed the importance of expediting the implementation of the Prime Minister's prescription regarding the decision to classify the Houthi militia as a terrorist organization, raise the level of security readiness and enhance coordination between the various specialized agencies, in a manner that ensures stability and preserves the public tranquility of citizens
