Lams: Enhancing cooperation with the international community requires the intensification of the presence of organizations in the capital, Aden

The Minister of State, Governor of the Capital, Aden, Ahmed Hamed Lams, stressed that the intensification of the presence of international organizations in Aden is an indication of the active partnership between the local authority and the international community, and contributes to enhancing stability and development efforts in the city.
This came during his meeting, today, Monday, the director of the UN envoy to Yemen, Brett Scott, where the two sides discussed the developments of the situation in general, and the existing cooperation between the local authority and international organizations, in addition to the strategies necessary to find a ground for radical solutions to the situation in the country.
The meeting, which was attended by the Undersecretary of the province, Salah Al -Aqil, touched on the importance of the directives of Major General Aidroos Al -Zubaidi, Chairman of the Transitional Council, Vice -President of the Presidential Command Council, during his last expanded meeting with the local authority and security and military leaders in Aden, especially with regard to dealing with the current stage and dealing with the classification of the Houthi militia as a terrorist organization, in a manner that ensures strengthening stability and supporting the efforts of the international community in this context.
He stressed Mals on the importance of the steps of the international community in dealing with the situation in Yemen more effective, in line with the current challenges, stressing the readiness of the local authority to provide the necessary facilities for international organizations working in Aden, in a way that contributes to enhancing its humanitarian and developmental role, and establishing a more stable reality.
