The Yemeni "President" and America ... an agreement to hit the Houthi leaders and avoid civilians

The Yemeni Presidential Council and the United States agreed today, Monday, to focus the strikes on the leaders of the Houthi militia and avoid harm to civilians.
This came during discussions by the Vice -President of the Presidential Command Council, Tariq Saleh, with the American Ambassador to Yemen, Stephen Waghen, according to the official Saba Agency.
The two sides discussed the recent developments and developments in Yemen, in light of the US -led military campaign against the Houthi militia, in response to the threats of international navigation in the Red Sea.
The two sides also agreed on the need to take strict measures to ensure that civilian injuries are avoided, and the focus of operations on the leaders of the Houthi militias that brought Yemen into wars that have not ended since its rebellion against the state until today.
The Vice -President of the Yemeni Presidential Council emphasized that facing the threat of the Houthi terrorist militias for national, regional and international security requires a unified international position, and comprehensive support for the legitimate government to regain control of the country.
He called for the necessity of ending the coup, and standing alongside the Yemenis to build a country based on good neighborhood and strong partnership with the international community.
Tariq Saleh stressed that the Yemeni people have the ability to defeat this sabotage project, stressing that the shortest way to undermine the Iranian threat in Yemen lies in setting an effective partnership strategy with the legitimate government.
American strikes against the Houthis
, the United States began on March 15th, a large -scale air military operation to strike the targets of the Houthi militia, in response to its threats to navigation in the Red Sea.
American forces carried out more than 55 raids until today, targeting several Houthi sites in 8 Yemeni governorates, namely: Sana'a, Saada, Al -Bayda, Al -Jouf, Dhamar, Taiz, Marib, and Hodeidah.
