The Israeli army announced, on Monday, that it was able to intercept a missile fired from Yemen before entering the atmosphere of the country.
According to the official statement published by the army through its account on the "X" platform, the missile was intercepted early before its arrival in Israeli lands, coinciding with the activation of warnings in several areas of the country. The army added that the objection process took place according to the policy followed.
While Hebrew media, such as the newspaper "Maariv" and "Yedioth Ahronoth", reported that the missile was intercepted in Israeli airspace, while the Hebrew Broadcasting Corporation indicated that it was intercepted after he entered the Israeli airspace.
The newspaper pointed out that the fall of the objectionable missile fragments in multiple areas of Israel, including a two -day crossroads and the fire station in Beit Shimish, caused slight damage.
The residents in the central Israel and Hasharon also reported that the sounds of an explosion were heard, while the takeoff and landing were suspended at Ben Gurion Airport for a short period.
In a related context, the United States continues to launch violent air strikes on Houthi sites in Yemen, since March 15. Al -Arabiya/Al -Hadath sources reported on Monday that the American forces launched a series of violent raids on the Houthi sites in Saada, northern Yemen, where the raids targeted more than 10 sites in the region, according to preliminary information.
