New raids on Yemeni governorates and Houthi claim to shoot down an American reconnaissance plane

The Houthi group announced the shooting down of an American MQ9 reconnaissance plane, while the United States continues to launch its raids on the capital, Sanaa, and other Yemeni governorates.
The group's military spokesman, Yahya Sari, said - in a statement - that "the Yemeni air defenses shot down an American Mi -9 plane with a homemade air missile while carrying out hostile tasks in the airspace of Hodeidah Governorate."
Soon added that this plane is the second that is shot down within 72 hours, and the 17th since the start of the battle of the "Gaza Strip is supported".
The Pentagon (Pentagon) was not issued immediate comment on the shooting down of the new reconnaissance plane.
MQ9 is a drone with high technological specifications, and the American army uses it a lot to hit its goals. The cost of one plane is $ 56 million, and its operating system is described as predators because it enables it to do more than one task.

In a related context, Houthi media said that an American march bombed a car in a neighboring directorate in Saada Governorate, northern Yemen, without indicating casualties.
Houthi media had said that American fighters launched a series of raids on the governorates of Saada, Hodeidah and Sana'a.
These sources reported that the raids targeted east and southeast of the city of Saada with 17 raids in two batches.
She added that the raids on Al -Hodeidah Governorate targeted the Ras Issa area in Al -Salif, and resulted in the death of a person and the injury of two others.
In Sana'a, a car was targeted by a citizen in the Qaisa area, south of the city, which resulted in the injury of a person.
US President Donald Trump announced on March 15 that he had ordered his forces to launch a "major attack" against the Houthi group in Yemen, before he threatened to "eliminate the Houthis completely."
While the Houthis responded by confirming that Trump's threat will not discourage them from "continuing the victory of Gaza", as they resumed days ago the bombing of sites inside Israel and ships in the Red Sea heading to it, in conjunction with the resumption of the Israeli army since March 18 this this year.
The recent American raids on Yemen have killed and wounded dozens of civilians, including women and children, according to the data of the Ministry of Health of the Houthi government.
