Today, Saturday, the Presidential Leadership Council held a meeting headed by Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Council, and in the presence of Council members.

The meeting discussed developments in the local and regional situation, most notably the developments in the mediation led by the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a ceasefire and the resumption of a comprehensive political process under the supervision of the United Nations.

The Presidential Command Council renewed its full support for Saudi efforts to renew the truce and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.

The Council stressed the importance of continuing international efforts to push the Houthis to commit to implementing the terms of the truce.
