The Houthis claim to shoot down an American plane driving in Sana'a

The Houthi militia, backed by Iran, on Saturday, claimed that a US reconnaissance plane was shot down in the atmosphere of the capital, Sanaa, in a claim that is the second of its kind in 24 hours, as part of a propaganda campaign aimed at inflating its military capabilities and raising the morale of its supporters.
The group's military spokesman, Yahya Sari, confirmed that their air defenses shot down a MQ-9 plane using a homemade-made surface-to-air missile, according to his description, claiming that it was carrying out spy tasks, and added that this is the second plane that is shot down within one day, and the sixth during the current month.
These allegations come within the framework of what the Houthis call "promised conquest operations and holy jihad", which are propaganda designations that they use to justify their military operations and create a false impression with advanced military capabilities.
At the same time, the Houthi militia continues to target civilians and vital installations in several regions, in a flagrant violation of international and humanitarian laws, while claiming that these operations will not affect the "steadfastness of the Yemeni people."
