The Minister of Defense warns of the danger of the Houthis and calls for the support of government forces

The Yemeni Minister of Defense, Mohsen Al -Daari, warned today, Wednesday, of the escalation of the danger of the Houthi group, stressing that their threats have affected everyone in Yemen and the region, as part of their implementation of Iranian agendas targeting security and regional and international stability.
This came during a meeting with the Dutch Ambassador to Yemen, Janet Siben, in the temporary capital of Aden, where the two sides discussed the developments of the situation in the country, the continued threats posed by the group for maritime navigation in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, in addition to the repercussions of Houthi attacks on the national economy and the deterioration of the currency value as a result of targeting oil installations and ports.
The Yemeni Minister of Defense stressed the need to put an end to what he described as the Houthi "terrorism and criminality", again calling for the international community to provide greater support to government forces, to enable them to complete the task of restoring state institutions, securing marine corridors, and imposing stability throughout the country.
