The Houthi militia targeted, today, an ambulance belonging to the government forces in the Mirkha Olaya district in Shabwa Governorate, with a shell launched by a plane, which led to the injury of its driver and the car fully damaged.

According to field sources, the targeting took place while the ambulance carried out a humanitarian mission in one of the fighting axes, in light of the continued attacks carried out by the militias in the directorate.

This attack came in conjunction with artillery shelling launched by the Houthi militias on residential villages and military sites in separate areas of the Directorate, which resulted in a state of panic among the local population, without civilian injuries until now.

The Houthi escalation comes in Mirkha Al -Olaya in light of the continued intermittent confrontations on the outskirts of the directorate, amid demands from the people to the concerned authorities to enhance protection for villages and targeted residential communities.
