The Minister of Awqaf accuses the UN envoy of bias towards the Houthis and demands a fair position

The Minister of Endowments and Guidance, Dr. Muhammad bin Aida, criticized the youth of the UN Special Envoy to Yemen, Hans Grendberg, with the Houthi militia in an attempt to save it, stressing that the interest of Yemen and its security is above all considerations and above each delegate or envoy.
Minister Shabiba said in a post on his Facebook page: “Every time the screws intensify on the Iranian Houthi militia as a result of its daily crimes, destructive behavior and insistence on disrupting the peace efforts, the UN envoy is rushing to save her under a banner (calm), while turning a blind eye to its denial of all initiatives and efforts and ignoring the suffering of the Yemeni people.”
The Minister of Awqaf pointed out that the UN envoy ignored the evidence of criminality and violations against the Yemenis by the Houthi militia, asking: “Does the happiness of the envoy see the crimes committed by the Houthis?
The minister, his youth, affirmed that peace is not based on identification with the executioner and ignoring the victim, warning of the danger of complimenting the oppressor and forgetting the suffering of the oppressed, calling at the same time to take fair positions that take into account the interests and sacrifices of the Yemeni people.
The minister stressed at the end of his post on the necessity of not silence towards the movements of the UN envoy and his identification with the Houthi terrorist militia, stressing that the interest and security of Yemen must be above all considerations.
The UN envoy had met last Thursday a delegation from the Houthi militia, "to discuss peace ways in Yemen, and within the framework of his efforts to reach a sustainable peace in Yemen," according to a statement to him. At a time when the Houthi militia lives its worst days, while Yemenis are looking for a permanent peace away from that militia that brought ruin and destruction to Yemen to the ground and a person.
