Al -Houthi accuses Washington of 1300 raids and shelling on Yemen

Al -Houthi group accused, on Wednesday, the United States of launching 1,300 air strikes and nautical shelling on Yemen since last March 15, and called for the formation of an independent international committee to investigate those "crimes."
This came in messages sent by Jamal Amer, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Houthi government (unrecognized internationally) to the Secretary -General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, the UN Security Council, and other international officials, according to the group's "Saba" news agency.
Amer said in his letters, "America has launched nearly 1300 raids and nautical shelling, during which it targeted hundreds of civilians, including women and children, and dozens of civilian notables, including residential neighborhoods, ports, airports, farms, health facilities, water tanks, factories and archaeological sites."
Amer added: "The last American crime was targeting the illegal immigrant shelter center in the city of Saada (north) last Monday, which includes 125 immigrants, all of whom are African nationalities, and resulted in the death of 60 and 65 injuries in an inappropriate outcome."
He called on the Security Council "to deviate from its applied silence, and to condemn the crime committed by America against African immigrants, as well as the crimes committed against civilians and civilian notables in Yemen."
He also called for "the formation of an independent international committee to investigate all the crimes committed by America against the Yemeni people and their capabilities, to ensure the achievement of accountability and not impunity."
