The arrival of 150 illegal African immigrants to the coast of Shabwa

Security sources revealed that a new batch of illegal African immigrants arrived in the coast of Shabwa Governorate, southeast of Yemen, is the third since the beginning of this month.
The Security Information Center of the Ministry of Interior in the internationally recognized government said on Wednesday that 150 illegal immigrants from the Horn of Africa have reached the coast of Shabwa.
The center quoted Shabwa Police as saying that the immigrants illegally arrived on an unknown smuggling boat, which brought them down in the coast of Kida in the Directorate of Razoum on the Arab Sea.
The police added that all the immigrants arrived with Ethiopian citizenship, and among them were 30 women.
This batch is the third since the beginning of April, when the security services were previously seized, and in two separate operations, 295 migrants holding Ethiopian and Somali nationalities in the same coast.
It is reported that the security services seized a total of 748 immigrants from the Horn of Africa in the coast of Shabwa Governorate, during last March, while trying to enter the country illegally across the sea.
