The Dean of the Kuwaiti Press and the Editor-in-Chief of the Kuwaiti Al-Seyassah newspaper, Ahmed Al-Jarallah, stated that the Houthi group’s hijacking of the ship is in order to divert attention from the crimes committed by Israel in Palestine.

He said that the Houthi hijacking of the ship was an international conspiracy of the heavy and pre-planned kind, in order to divert attention from the crimes of the Zionist entity in Gaza.

The Kuwaiti journalist wrote: When we tell you that the Houthi militias and their holy eunuch, Abdul Malik, when we say that they are agents of an international conspiracy, believe us...the hijacking of the ship “Galaxy Leader” is intended to divert attention from what is happening in Gaza.”

He added, “An international conspiracy of the heavy and deliberate kind that is happening in Gaza in order to divert attention from the Ukraine war and the hijacking of the ship by the foolish Houthis is to divert attention from what is happening in Gaza until Israel completes its mission of annihilating the Palestinian people in Gaza.”

The Houthi group seized the ship "Galaxy Leader" belonging to an Israeli merchant in the Red Sea and took it to the port of Saleef in Hodeidah.
