A government meeting headed by Ben Brik discusses solutions to the electricity crisis.

Prime Minister Salem Saleh bin Brik, today, Monday, in the capital, Aden, chaired a government meeting to follow up the procedures implemented to solve the problem of electricity interruptions in Aden, meet the increasing demand with the summer heat, and alleviate the suffering of citizens, including the ongoing operations to provide obstetric stations with their needs of oil derivatives.
The Prime Minister, from the ministers of oil and minerals, Dr. Saeed Al -Shammasi, Electricity and Energy, Manea Bin Yamin, reviewed the plans to supply electricity plants with fuel, and gradually increase the generator capabilities, which will lead to a reduction in the number of hours Electricity in Hadramout, Lahj and Abyan and the solutions that are being taken to overcome the existing challenges in the decline in operation.
The meeting studied, solutions and practical alternatives to address the existing deficit in electrical energy and provide oil derivatives, including urgent and necessary procedures .. The Prime Minister directed the ministries of electricity and oil to work to find unconventional solutions to ensure the stability of the electrical generation system, and to maintain a suitable stock of oil derivatives for electricity.
Salem bin Brik stressed that his keenness to hold the first government meeting after his return to Aden to discuss the electricity situation, a message that the suffering of citizens as a result of the deterioration of this service is a problem that disturbs everyone and understands the suffering of citizens with the entry of the summer ... stressing the complementary responsibility to find sustainable and urgent solutions to stabilize the electricity system.
The Prime Minister drew attention to the directives and understandings to increase the pumping of fuel to the power plants in Aden, whether from local oil or import .. directed by providing strategic stocks of oil derivatives for power stations, and the need for everyone to perform their responsibilities and duties.
