The leader of the Southern Transitional Council, Fadi Baoum, revealed today the import of a shipment of adulterated oil to Hadramaut Governorate, amounting to 4,948 tons, on board the ship MT T RISHA.
Baoum said, in a tweet on his official account on the social networking site “Twitter,” that the Mukalla laboratory showed results that did not conform to the specifications, and that the dyes in the shipment reached 6.6, which is in violation and higher than the approved specifications, in which the dyes do not exceed 4.
p>He added that the Mukalla laboratory objected to the unloading, but pressure was put on it under orders from higher authorities, and the shipment was unloaded.
Baoum indicated that this shipment may cause damage to the engines of citizens’ cars.
A few days ago, 5,000 tons of adulterated diesel were introduced into the tanks of the Aden refineries. The National Anti-Corruption Commission confronted this and summoned the Aden Refineries Administration for investigation.
Baoum called for revealing the company supplying the adulterated diesel, and knowing how to treat contaminated shipments, the cost of treatment, the fees for paying the costs of treatment, and why the adulterated diesel that was imported last July was not treated? And do the licenses granted to licensed importers include clauses that allow the import of diesel? Fraudulent and the refineries are responsible for processing it?!.
