While a number of Houthi areas are witnessing a security chaos, the Yemeni Mine Observatory revealed today (Saturday) that 15 civilians were killed and injured in the explosion of mines planted by the militia in a number of Yemeni governorates last November.
The Observatory reported that Houthi mines caused the death of five civilians and injured 10 others in five incidents that occurred in four Yemeni governorates (Al-Jawf, Al-Bayda, Al-Hudaydah, and Taiz), indicating that the dead were children, women, and the elderly.
Meanwhile, two people were killed and three others were injured in security chaos in Ibb Governorate, which is under Houthi control. According to tribal sources, clashes broke out between tribal militants supported by Houthi leaders in Al-Qaeda city in Dhu Al-Safal District, south of Ibb.
The sources reported that the disputes and conflicts in all governorates are mostly due to a conflict of wings between the militia leaders, indicating that the militia killed last weekend the tribal leader Muhammad Ahmed Hassan Al-Zubairi, who is considered one of the most prominent militia supervisors in the Arhab District, in mysterious circumstances.
She indicated that the process of liquidating Al-Zubairi came after he threatened to bury the Houthi-appointed mayor of the capital, Hamoud Abbad, if he opposed the sale of Attan Park, which he looted and began the process of selling it in his favor and refused to pay the share of the other Houthi leaders participating in the process of plundering and armed robbery of public property and civilian lands. .
