The Yemeni Minister of Information in the Yemeni government revealed details of a military plan to overthrow the governorates of Ma’rib and Shabwa, which had been prepared since the end of last October.

Regarding the details of the plan, Al-Eryani added that field reports reveal that the Houthi militia is planning to launch a military operation in the governorates of (Ma’rib and Shabwa), by carrying out a pincer operation against the city of Ma’rib from the Al-Alam fronts in the north of the governorate, and the Eastern Balq front, and Harib in the south of the governorate. In conjunction with a massive attack on the districts of Bayhan, Ain, Usaylan, Markha Al-Ula, and Markha Al-Ula in Shabwa Governorate.
