The Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council, Ali Al-Kathiri, confirmed today, Wednesday, the Council’s intention to liberate the Mukayras District from the Houthi occupation.

This came during his meeting with the head of the executive body of the local leadership of the Transitional Council in Makeiras District, Abd Rabbo Al-Jishani, and the member of the body, Qasim Al-Aqel.

Al-Kathiri listened to an explanation from Al-Jishani about the tragic conditions that the people of the district are experiencing as a result of the violations committed by the Houthis, as well as the activity of the executive body, and the most prominent obstacles that accompanied its work.

Al-Kathiri stressed the need to intensify work and unify efforts to confront the challenges facing the local leadership, reiterating that the leadership of the Transitional Council will not give up a single inch of the southern land, and is keen to liberate Mukayras and return the directorate to the embrace of the south.
