Headed by Al-Khobaji, the Southern Political Commission holds its regular meeting and addresses developments in the political scene
The Assistant Political Body of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held its regular meeting today, Monday, in the capital, Aden, headed by Dr. Nasser Al-Khobaji, Chairman of the Political Body and Head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit.
The meeting of the Commission reviewed the results of the meetings held by the Chairman of the Commission, Dr. Al-Khobaji, with a number of international and foreign delegations and missions, most notably the meeting of President Commander Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi with the envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Yemen, Hans Grodberg, as well as other political meetings.
The Commission reviewed the report on the political scene for the month of August, and the political movements undertaken by the Southern Transitional Council at home and abroad, stressing that there should be no compromise on the issue of the people of the South, detracting from their national entitlement, or attempting to skip or exclude it from the path of the comprehensive negotiating process.
During its meeting, the Commission discussed the anniversary of the founding of Aden TV, its fifty-eighth anniversary of the opening of the first visual media edifice in the Arabian Peninsula, on September 11, 1964 AD, congratulating all the channel’s cadres and employees, and demanding the return of this important historical media edifice to the south.

At the conclusion of its meeting, the Authority took a number of decisions and recommendations related to the Authority’s activities internally and externally.
