Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, met today, Wednesday, in his office, with Mr. Saeed Saadan, Chairman of the Assistant Institutional Development Authority of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, and a number of members of the authority.

During the meeting, the President of the Association stressed the importance of institutional work, integration, and creating a joint working relationship in order to develop performance to keep pace with structuring requirements, to develop the activity of all Council bodies, and to consolidate the foundations of institutional work.

 Noting that today’s stage requires everyone to make efforts to develop the level of work to serve the cause of the people of the South.

Adding that the Transitional Council is moving forward today with strength and stability on the ground through institutional work in its bodies, including the National Assembly.

For his part, Mr. Saeed Saadan, Chairman of the Institutional Development Authority, stressed the importance of introducing and working with the new regulations for institutional development, for the bodies, their tasks and powers, mechanisms and means of work, and clarifying the planning mechanism and determining the relationship between the various council bodies and methods for preparing the general budget, monitoring and evaluation.

In addition to the tasks assigned to the heads and deputies of the auxiliary bodies and joint work mechanisms according to the amended statute of the Southern Transitional Council.
