Al-Mualla police in the capital, Aden, arrested the accused of stealing an apartment in the Al-Hurriya Building, located on the main street in Al-Mualla, in coordination with the Crater Police.

The police coordinated between Al-Maalat and Crater to pursue the accused of stealing mobile phones and a sum of money from an apartment in which two girls and their mother lived.

Security sources revealed that the accused (K.S.S.) sneaked into the apartment when he found its door open, to commit his crime and escape, before security men tracked him via surveillance cameras, monitored the course of his movements, and determined his identity.

Investigations revealed that the accused has a criminal record and was involved in two theft crimes earlier in the Crater District, where he was detained to complete investigation procedures.

Activists on social media circulated his photos widely, which contributed to revealing his identity to security.
