Major General Qasim Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, today, Sunday, issued three new decisions, which included assigning the preparatory committee to hold the meeting of the House of Commons of the Southern Transitional Council, inviting them to attend the meeting scheduled to be held next January, and appointing Ahmed Hussein Ahmed Al-Rubaizi as Vice President of the Council of Advisors. Transitional.

According to Resolution No. 50 of 2023, the preparatory committee was appointed, consisting of:

* Ali Abdullah Salem Al Kathiri, Chairman

* Ahmed Hussein Ahmed Al-Rubaizi, deputy

* Mohsen Ali Obaid, rapporteur

* Salem Thabet Al-Awlaki, member

* Abdullah Saleh Moqbel, member

* Ahmed Hassan Hussein Al-Marhabi, member

* Nasr Saleh Harhara, member

* Riyad Khaled Mohsen Shaif, member

* Ali Abdul Qadir Muhammad Al-Azani, member

With the tasks of preparing the necessary arrangements for holding a meeting of the House of Commons of the Southern Transitional Council, which includes the joint gathering of: the Council’s Presidency, the National Assembly, and the Council of Advisors.

In Resolution No. 48 of 2023, Al-Zubaidi invited members of the House of Commons of the Southern Transitional Council to attend the House of Commons meeting scheduled to be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 AD.

As for Resolution No. 47 of 2023, it appointed Ahmed Hussein Ahmed Al-Rubaizi as Deputy Chairman of the Council of Advisors of the Transitional Council.

These decisions come within the framework of the efforts of the Southern Transitional Council to strengthen its institutions and develop their performance, and to serve its goals of achieving peace and development in the south.
