Ahmed Al-Wali, advisor to the governor of the capital, Aden, for refugee affairs, revealed that 6,000 African refugees were deported out of 80,000 who arrived on the coast of the south during the current year.
He said in media statements today, Thursday, that the unfortunate events that Aden witnessed at the hands of African immigrants some time ago portend a great danger, stressing that the security forces intervened efficiently to resolve the clashes that broke out on an ethnic background.
He explained that there are realistic steps to establish five shelter centers for African immigrants, pointing to the formation of a committee to complete the centres, in addition to tightening coastal surveillance to control African smuggling gangs
