The UAE welcomed the announcement of the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, regarding reaching an agreement between the Yemeni parties to work on a road map to support the peace process, expressing hope that it will be completed and signed as soon as possible.
The UAE Foreign Ministry said that its country commends the efforts made by the United Nations, its special envoy, and both the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman to reach a sustainable political solution to the Yemeni crisis, in a way that enhances peace and stability in Yemen and the region.
The Ministry stressed that the UAE supports all regional and international efforts made to find a political solution in Yemen in a way that achieves the aspirations of its brotherly people for security, development and stability.
It also reiterated that the UAE stands by the brotherly Yemeni people, and supports their legitimate ambitions for development and prosperity within the framework of its policy of supporting everything that serves the interests of the peoples of the region.
In a related context, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its country’s welcome of the statement issued by the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, regarding reaching a road map to resolve the Yemeni crisis.
The Foreign Ministry said in a press statement today, Monday, that it is awaiting the completion of the signing process of this important agreement to confirm the State of Kuwait’s support for all endeavors made within the framework of reaching a comprehensive and lasting peace in brotherly Yemen that contributes to achieving the aspirations of the Yemeni people in establishing security, stability and prosperity. .
In the same context, the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its welcome of the statement of the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, regarding reaching a road map to support the peace process in the sisterly Republic of Yemen, hoping that the Yemeni parties will sign the agreement and accelerate its implementation according to specific mechanisms that lead to Ending the current crisis through a comprehensive and sustainable peace settlement.
