Dropping a “flying object” in the sky of the Egyptian city of Dahab on the Red Sea

Egyptian media reported, on Tuesday, that a “flying object” had been shot down 2 km from the coast of the city of Dahab in South Sinai Governorate, overlooking the Red Sea.
The Egyptian “Cairo News” channel, which is close to the Egyptian authorities, reported from eyewitnesses that “explosions were heard in the sky of the city of Dahab,” adding that “a flying object was shot down 2 kilometers from the coast of the city.”
On December 16, the channel reported, from sources it described as knowledgeable, that Egyptian air defenses dealt with a “flying object” off Egyptian territorial waters in the city of Dahab.
It indicated at the time that the object fell about 1.5 kilometers off the coast of the city.
