A major crude oil pipeline was blown up in Shabwa
On Tuesday, unidentified gunmen blew up a main pipeline transporting crude oil near one of the oil fields in Shabwa Governorate.
Local sources said, “Unidentified gunmen targeted the crude oil pipeline linking the Jannah field in the Usaylan district of Shabwa Governorate and the Safer facility in the neighboring Ma’rib Governorate.”
The sources explained, “A major fire broke out in the pipe that supplies the Safer facility with crude oil after it was targeted.”
