A thief killed the owner of a qat farm with the aim of stealing it, while the owner was guarding it, in Amran Governorate.
Local sources said that the citizen, Gibran Sadiq Silah, was killed while he was guarding his farm in the Dhu Silah area.
The sources reported that Silah was killed by an unknown person who stole “khat” from the farm after committing the crime and then fleeing.
Murders, thefts, and looting have recently increased in areas controlled by the Houthi militias, especially Amran, for several reasons, most notably the disruption of judicial institutions and the absence Security services almost completely.
