Indian Navy forces board a hijacked ship off the coast of Somalia and carry out “clearance operations”

Indian media reported, on Friday, that Indian Navy forces boarded the hijacked ship, “Leela Norfolk,” and carried out “clearance operations” on board, on Friday.
Earlier, the Indian Navy said that its warship headed toward a hijacked ship flying the Liberian flag in the Arabian Sea, and that a plane was closely monitoring the situation.
The Asian International News Agency “ANI” previously quoted military officials as saying that the ship “Leela Norfolk” had an Indian crew of at least 15 people on board, and that it had been hijacked near the coast of Somalia, and the Navy received information about it on Thursday evening.
