The Commander of the Second Sector of the Security Belt in Al Dhalea Governorate, Captain Nader Muhammad Muqbel, was subjected to an assassination attempt following a treacherous ambush on his convoy in the Silah area.

According to a statement issued by Al-Dhalea Belt Operations, Captain Nader Muhammad Muqbil was subjected to an armed ambush by a group of people in the Al-Sila area, while returning from a work mission in the Habeel Al-Raida area in the Halmin District.

 The statement confirmed that the ambush that Captain Moqbel was subjected to came against the backdrop of the arrest of a resident of the Silah area at the Wydad point in the Gaza Strip after he severely beat another person near the point.

The statement explained that after the return of Captain Nader Moqbel, he and his companions were subjected to a barrage of bullets by gunmen belonging to the “M, Y, M, S” of light and medium weapons, where they responded to the source of the fire and clashed with the gunmen and forced them to withdraw. .

The Security Belt Command in Al Dhalea confirmed that the incident will not go unpunished, and that it will pursue the gunmen involved in it, and will continue to maintain security and stability and arrest those wanted by security forces.
