Britain: Houthi boats approaching a cargo ship off the coast of Mokha

A British maritime authority said on Saturday that it had received reports of small boats approaching a commercial ship southeast of the Yemeni port of Mokha.
The authority added, in a brief statement, that it had received a report about 6 small boats approaching a commercial ship at a distance of approximately one nautical mile, 50 nautical miles southeast of Mokha, Yemen, according to Reuters.
She continued: “No weapons were seen on board the small boats, and the international coalition forces are assessing the situation, and the relevant authorities are investigating the incident.”
The "Houthi group" launches attacks against ships that it says are linked to Israel, and justifies its attacks by saying that they come in support of the Palestinians in their war against Israel.
The “Houthi group” says that it “will continue to target ships linked to Israel or those heading to Israeli ports, in response to the ongoing war on the Gaza Strip.”
Since November 18, about 25 commercial ships sailing in the southern Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden have been subjected to attacks. Last Wednesday, 12 countries called on the Houthi group to “immediately stop their illegal attacks” on ships in the Red Sea, warning of the consequences.
