The Security Department of Lawdar District, in Abyan Governorate, was able to arrest a Houthi cell involved in terrorist activities, late last night.

Security sources reported that the cell consisting of three individuals, namely: A. S. Aruli, S. M. Aruli, and A. S. Damani, was arrested while they were coming from the Jishan District of Abyan Governorate.

The sources added that the cell was planning to launch terrorist attacks against military and security targets in Lawdar District.

The sources confirmed that the security services in Abyan Governorate are intensifying their efforts to combat terrorism and protect citizens from terrorist acts.
