Informed political sources revealed that the current Prime Minister of Yemen, Maeen Abdulmalik, will soon be announced as replacing him, as it is expected that he will be replaced by a southern minister from the current government cadres.
Information indicates that the names presented to the Arab coalition to assume the presidency of the government include:

- Dawaad Badib
- Ahmed bin Mubarak
- Salem Al-Soqatri
- Abdel Nasser Al-Wali
Salem bin Brik is considered the strongest candidate according to sources.
It is expected that this change will be part of the efforts of the Presidential Council and the Arab Coalition to enhance geographical representation within the government, which would bring about transformations in the management of government policies and promote development.
