The Leadership Council appoints Badib as Acting Minister of Communications

Today, Tuesday, the Presidential Leadership Council appointed Dr. Waed Badib as Acting Minister of Communications and Information Technology, in addition to his duties as Minister of Planning and International Cooperation.
This came during a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik, with the leadership of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and its affiliated institutions and bodies.
The Prime Minister praised the great efforts made by the late Minister Dr. Najib Al-Awj in institutional building of the Ministry, activating its activity, and addressing the conditions of its affiliated institutions.
He expressed his confidence that Dr. Badib will continue to supervise the implementation of efforts to develop the communications and information technology sector.
The meeting was attended by Secretary General of the Council of Ministers Mutee Dammaj.
