Britain announces sending a warship to the Red Sea

British Defense Secretary Grant Shapps announced that "the ship HMS Richmond is on its way to the Red Sea as part of efforts to confront Houthi attacks."
Earlier, he confirmed that "British forces are ready to act against the Houthis in Yemen, who are targeting cargo ships passing through the Red Sea."
Shapps said in an article in the Daily Telegraph newspaper that Britain is “ready to take direct measures” to protect the main shipping lane that passes off the coast of Yemen.
