The joint thwarts a militia attack on the contact lines on the outskirts of Maqbanah and the countryside of Hays

The joint forces were able on Tuesday night and the early hours of Wednesday morning to thwart a Houthi attack attempt on the outskirts of the Maqbanah District and the Hais countryside on the administrative borders between the governorates of Taiz and Hodeidah.
Military sources stated that the Iranian-backed militia pushed dozens of its fighters, backed by a fire cover from artillery, drones, and machine guns, towards the gates of a mission close to the lines of contact on the outskirts of the Maqbanah District of Taiz Governorate, along the countryside of the Hays District, south of Hodeidah, and it failed.
The source confirmed that the vigilance and high readiness of the units stationed from the joint forces on the contact lines was the most important element in deciding the outcome of the clash and that the attacking Houthi elements inflicted losses in lives and equipment, which forced them to flee, carrying the tails of disappointment and defeat.
The field engagement of the joint forces was also accompanied by the support of artillery of the joint forces, which was able to silence the sources of militia artillery fire with concentrated strikes that achieved direct hits and doubled the militia’s losses.
It is worth noting that the Houthi militia is making desperate attempts to effect any field penetration of the joint ranks on the lines of contact, but the vigilance and readiness of the joint forces is always on the lookout for them, causing them heavy human and material losses.
