The US Department of Defense, the Pentagon, confirmed that US and British Air Force fighters carried out raids targeting sites belonging to the Houthi militia in Yemen.

Sources told Sky News Arabia that the raids targeted several Yemeni cities, including Hodeidah, Sanaa, Taiz, and Saada.

A Pentagon official told Sky News Arabia that the targets included in the air strike list are areas in Sanaa and the port of Hodeidah, adding that about ten Houthi targets were targeted.

He pointed out that the targets that were struck were drone manufacturing centers and weapons stores, confirming the participation of American and British fighters in the bombing of Houthi positions.

A US official confirmed to Reuters that the strikes against the Houthis are carried out by planes, ships and submarines.

Eyewitnesses said that they heard three explosions in the Yemeni capital, while a Houthi official confirmed launching hostile raids on Sanaa.
